SEP AG opens business unit in Brazil

SEP AG, headquartered in Weyarn near Munich, specialist software designer for storage management and network-wide data security and availability solutions, today announced that is opening a new business unit in Brazil and has appointed Tim Wagner as General Manager for the Americas. Mr. Wagner has been President of SEP Software, based in Boulder, Colorado and now assumes the reins as General Manager for the Americas.

With these announcements SEP AG begins its expansion into the Latin American market through its Brazilian units which will be the first stage of launching of a portfolio of storage management and network-wide data security solutions which includes online backup support for SLES 9/10/11, Novell OES2, GroupWise, NSS volume support, NetWare, eDirectory and iFolder online backup and restore. The company also offers backup applications for Virtual environments including VMware ESX, XEN.
