July 1, 2014 - Boulder, CO – SEP Software Corp., a leader in backup and disaster recovery solutions, today announced it has achieved Gold Partner status in Oracle’s PartnerNetwork (OPN). By attaining Gold Level membership, Oracle has recognized SEP for its commitment to deliver high-performing backup and disaster recovery solutions and uniquely addressing the challenges of joint Oracle/SEP customers.

SEP’s flagship backup product, SEP sesam, is fully compatible with Oracle Database and communicates directly with RMAN to ensure fast and accurate backups.  Because of the way SEP sesam communicates with RMAN, backup windows and storage space requirements are significantly decreased.  In larger deployments, this can not only save SEP customers precious time, but also extensively decrease hardware costs. Ideally suited for the enterprise space, backup strategies can be created to match the needs of the individual institution.
