To "Re Format" a tape in the GUI:

First transfer the Sm_lic.zip file or Sm_lic.ini file to the sesam server

Linux:

SEP sesam Standard Server

5 streams of Multi-Streaming. Backup to Disk (VTL 2 TB) and Tape. Includes updates for 12 months.

( assuming 5 daily full backups, 1 weekly full and 1 monthly full)

The commands below will set backup and restore log files to be compressed after 3 days.
