Offsite RDS/RTS

We want to change to forwarding the connections out through ssh instead of sesam's protocol since there are more checks done on the connection and an additional timeout which should allow us to fail over to the next [running] rds.

Please use the ssh-keygen[2] app provided by your linux installation to create the following files without a password (key only) on the backup server. If your linux uses rsa keys instead that will be fine.

 /root/.ssh/id_dsa.pub
 /root/.ssh/id_dsa

Then please transfer the public key (id_dsa.pub) to the rds machines as this filename:
/root/.ssh/authorized_keys

At this point the root user on the backup server should be able to ssh root@$RDS_HOSTNAME and not be prompted for a password...

Once this is tested you can change the access mode (in client properties) for each rds from ctrl->ssh
